Emissary is a marketplace creating a brand-new, insanely valuable form of intelligence for sales teams. Instead of focusing on reports (stale and unpersonalized) or data (commoditized and often useless), Emissary connects salespeople directly to former employees of the companies they are selling to. These advisors help them understand the complex, sophisticated dynamics of these organizations, giving them the insights they need to win more deals more effectively.

On the advisor side, Emissary helps people who have valuable knowledge connect to the organizations that find that knowledge valuable; we all know our knowledge is valuable to someone, we just don't know to whom.

By connecting people who are seeking valuable knowledge with those who are possessing them, we're realizing the vision of bringing the idea of expert networks (i.e. GLG) to the enterprise. The opportunity is massive, and we're the first to crack it substantially. May 2015We're growing 30-50% month over month - 0 to nearly $1MM ARR in under 1 year, and expect to continue growing at this rate for a while. Our customers are sales teams of all types, especially in media, software, and professional services. They use our product to understand the organizations they sell into.

We have over 30 customers -- the average customer spends between $1000 and $5000 a month on us, with lots of upside.

Customers LOVE us so far. Over a 90% satisfaction rate on engagements. Our biggest growth inhibitor is just sales headcount right now.Emissary has actually had to pause distribution because we've seen such an overwhelming response to our initial leadgen efforts -- nearly .5% of weakly-targeted cold emails generate pilots. We'll be activating a marketing engine in Q3 2016 once our product is a little more mature and scalable -- in the meantime we have far more demand than we can handle.
