Our Sr. Web Designers are hands-on interactive design masters. Their passions: creative concepts, layout, photography, typography, UI innovation & new technologies. The Sr. Web Designer will be the primary support of the Art Director from concept to completion, partnering with our copy, marketing and technology teams to develop best-in-class brand experiences for our highest profile initiatives. The work: key product launch campaigns, support for major events engagement pieces for online/mobile channels, social media, and other various support for any blue chip creative, merchandising, marketing or technology objective.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design and produce site launches, emails, and special projects/presentations
• Understand the creative and marketing objectives for each project assigned
• Work with Art Director and Web Design team to extend and optimize Web functionality, site architecture, user interface and navigation
• Partner with marketing and technical partners to design brand-right layouts for the Web with an eye to performance and ease of use
• Manage temporary help or freelancers as assigned
• Ensure deadlines for assigned projects are met
• Produce, optimize and output final Web-ready digital artwork in support of site updates
• Maintain absolute accuracy and attention to detail throughout the creative and production process
• Maintain and update content templates to ensure accurate and efficient design production

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s Degree (Design / Interactive) or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years Web design experience
• Mastery of appropriate tools & technology
• Advanced Photoshop, with excellent digital photo-manipulation and compositing skills
• Working knowledge Illustrator and InDesign
• Knowledge of best practices for Web image optimization
• Understanding of the capabilities and best practices relating to the use of front-end Web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Relevant creative background
• Proven talent in graphic and interactive design
• Strong retail/fashion brand or agency experience desired; ecommerce experience ideal
• Experience delivering on business and creative goals through design
• Design for responsive layouts and touch interactivity
• Experience overseeing or editing copy a plus
