We’re an early-stage startup re-imagining the relationship between creative freelancers and their clients, leading to full and timely payments for freelancers, and seamless work creation for their counterparts.
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our product team in NYC.
While we value experience, more importantly we are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset that is creative, adaptive and who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Scheduling is flexible, but our ideal candidate would be willing to contribute between 20 and 30 hours per-week.
Main responsibilities would include:
1. Participating in weekly team meetings.
2. Designing from rapid paper prototyping to high fidelity, based on planned features from roadmap to launch.
3. Working with our product manager and lead developer to ensure quality of product and user-experience.
4. Willingness to execute on marketing-related designs including flyers/brochures, logos, display banners, etc.
*The ideal candidate would have an understanding of how code relates to design (especially front-end related programs: HTML, CSS). The actual ability to write code is also a major plus*.
