Frequently Asked Questions

We created Free&Willing to make it easier to connect people looking for work, with people hiring. We had a lot of professional connections but we never knew who was looking for work and available when. Our goal is for you to get a great job, without wasting a ton of time looking around.

Glad you asked. We are different as we aggregate tech and creative jobs from all over the web, jobs sites and companies’s careers pages (not every opening makes it to job boards). Also, we have the largest list of both agencies, startups and recruiting firms. We list companies that are open to receiving talent applications all the time (they usually say so on their website), even when they don’t have an official opening, first is in search results, so you can 1-Click Apply, which means we send them your resume, portfolio and links because they are constantly growing or because they know they can’t wait for when they badly need someone to hire the best talent.

YES. Free&Willing is 100% free for general members (talent). If you are hiring we have different pricing options.

TL;DR Nope. Talent is “free”… as in “able to decide if they want to take on a job or not." All talent on Free&Willing expects to be paid on time btw, and if that’s not your habit please read this.

No, never. But glad you asked. :)

We charge companies hiring for access to the site. They want to easily access portfolios and resumes of talented people, and know who is available when. People hiring also receive an email digest with everyones’ availability so they don’t have to log in to know. Make sure to update your availability every week if you are looking.
