Currently working as a strategy consultant, supporting creative teams from briefing to delivery. A creative strategist or a strategic creative? I'm a digital marketing native with deep experience at integrated ad agencies. I'm looking to get back to my digital roots and be part of a team that's making something. I'm a creative who became a strategist. A digital pioneer who became an all-channel integrator. I am and will always be a storyteller. I've worked in TV and film production, in news and entertainment, as a production assistant and as a writer-director, at ABC News and taking my short film to festivals. I've written for the TV soap opera "One Life to Live" and for the game "SPQR: The Empire's Darkest Hour" from GT Interactive and worked on the pioneering adver-gaming site Candystand.com. I currently publish personal essays, cultural criticism and short stories. I'm also finishing up a Master's in Liberal Studies with a focus on literature at the New School. I should be writing my thesis in the spring of 2017. I've worked at small digital shops and large integrated advertising agencies within global holding company motherships. I've spent the last few years working at a health & wellness agency within the NY office of Havas, but my pharma clients have retreated to making brochure-ware websites and TV spots with dogs on the beach. This is not what I signed up for. Health communications are supposed to be about helping not selling, about connecting people to real content and tools. When I attended TED MED in 2009, I witnessed stories of how innovative technologies can transform people's lives by making them healthier. I like making things that help people or at least are fun to use. I like working in a collaborative team of people who trust and value each other's skills and creativity.
