Change.org is the world's largest technology platform for social change. Our goal is to empower people everywhere to start campaigns around the issues they care about, mobilize others, and work with decision makers to drive solutions.

Over 130 million people have started and signed petitions, and our users win nearly one victory per hour, including strengthening hate crime legislation in South Africa; fighting corruption in Indonesia, Italy, and Brazil; ending the ban on gay Boy Scouts in the United States, and big wins for women’s rights in India. And we’re just getting started. The typical contract is between $10k and $500k. We’ve also seen a 10-fold increase in the number of people who use our Promoted Petitions product.

Since our last investment round (May 2013), our quarterly revenue has doubled. Today, 35% comes from outside the US and 15% comes directly from users through Promoted Petitions.We have about 30 million monthly unique visitors and a naturally viral product. When users start petitions, they reach out to their own networks for support. When users sign a petition, they share it socially and recruit new signers. Nearly 3 million new people sign up as users each month, and because of this inherent virality we've invested very few engineering resources to optimize for growth. Yet this is a huge opportunity for us, and because of that we just established our first dedicated Growth Team - which based on early tests we expect to significantly accelerate our growth next year.
