App Academy is a 3 month immersive web development course taught in San Francisco and New York City. We're closing in on training 1,000 students across both locations and are bootstrapped and profitable since 2013.
Our tuition model is game-changing. Students only pay if they find a job within a year after the course. No job, no tuition. This allows us to select students for their talent and passion regardless of what’s in their bank account. Every course bootstraps dozens of students out of financial hardship. 98% of our graduates find placement in tech jobs after the program. In 2014, SF graduates received an average salary of $105,000; in 2014, NY graduates received an average salary of $89,000. Hiring companies include: Facebook, Google, LinkedIn and Stripe.
