Preo is a free app that lets users order and pay for food & drinks from their smartphone, then receive a notification when their order is ready. Our differentiation is in our automatic notification system that fits directly into the server's workflow. Servers view receipts to make orders and serve customers at the bar or to tables.

Preo is the ONLY mobile ordering company that has attracted brand partnerships to solve the difficult two-sided network problem.

Consumers don't need to fight for the wait staff’s attention, and staff will save on payment processing time (~50% of each order). Preo helps venues improve their service operations, identify their best customers and offer incentives to drive repeat business.

They paused user acquisition from May-September as they developed the printer technology. During Beta trials (Feb-May 2013), 500 customers used the product bi-weekly. Partner venues include high-volume venues such as XVI, the Parlour, Havana Central and EVR. Users have found new use cases (order in the cab), and staff say they have more time to serve.The app is available for iOS and Android, but distribution is NOT predicated on "search results". Rather, users join the free Preo WiFi within partner venue, view a Preo ad, and download the app. Preo has been able to increase sales for alcohol brands by 3x through advertising through advertising on the app, and are in discussions with beverage brands to help distribution to bars, clubs, restaurants, and cofee shops.
