SquarePeg is a job matching service between employers and candidates which uses predictive aptitude indicators to find high potential job matches, before the resume or job post. Individuals take the JobFit assessment which measures personality traits, competencies, cultural fit and other aptitudes, and get weekly matches of employers/roles where they would thrive. Employers fill out a hiring priorities questionnaire and receive a manageable number of pre-screened candidate matches on a weekly basis. The main hypothesis is that 1) Resumes are not proficient for making filtering decisions 2) Online job boards require far too much search time for such little yield to be useful to candidates or employers. We are focused on non-technical candidates/roles.
