Ninety-Five percent of kids under 10 do not have a phone because parents worry about screen-time and security. Toymail has re-imagined the mobile phone for children creating a WIFI based, kid-friendly, safe and screen-free way to stay connected to loved ones. Toymail is more than a toy company - it's a fully verticalized hardware and software platform that educates, entertains, and helps families stay connected. Parents can unlock new features in the toy via in-app purchases so that the toy evolves as their child grows. Toymail will launch in 2016 with their first major app content partner, Amazon Alexa, turning every Toymail toy into an Echo for kids. Additionally, Toymail modules can be put into any toy, enabling endless licensing opportunities.

November 201320,000 units sold worldwide, we see about 3-4 downloads per toy. The new Toymail Talkies will launch in September of 2016. Parents don't just love us, they need us. One dad writes: “I’m lucky if I see my kids for 30 minutes at night before putting them to bed. To be able to send/receive voice messages with them during the day would be priceless.”
Sales to date have been of a viral nature (through traditional PR, blogs, and social media). We've signed retail deals with Brookstone, Amazon, Thinkgeek, Zullily, entered into talks with Apple, Google, Target, Best Buy, and Hammacher. We are expanding into Japan, the EU, and Australia in late 2014. We are in talks with toy manufacturers to expand toy hardware reach and customer base and will soon be partnering with popular content partners to bring music, stories, and education to children through their toys.
