Services like Spotify have the best music listening experiences, but young people have been hesitant to join them due to their high cost or interruptive advertisements. Instead, teenagers use youtube to listen to music because it has all the content and is free, even though the experience is inferior to that of dedicated music streaming services.
We want to offer cost-free, interruption-free, music streaming, with an experience on par with other streaming services. We're going to achieve this by merging the cost effectiveness and content of youtube with a user interface that allows for seamless music listening, and mimics other dedicated streaming services in style.
