We are looking for a passionate and creative Strategist for immediate hire at our Dumbo, Brooklyn office.

The Strategy Team at Red Antler is responsible for the development and clear communication of the core idea that each brand stands for, and guiding that idea through the entire creative process. Working primarily with startups and new ventures across almost every industry, you should bring a unique perspective to the table, and love solving strategic challenges with creative solutions. You should be passionate about writing and language, as well as having deep interest in consumers, design, culture, and trends, with a desire to help brands understand their purpose and reason for being.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Leading stakeholder kickoff sessions
• Collaborating closely with Client, Design, UX, and Development teams to see projects through completion
• Developing thorough yet concise strategic briefs that will ultimately guide the entire creative team
• Writing brand, web, marketing, and packaging copy
• Working with the design team to visually express strategic ideas

Skills and qualities we look for in candidates:

• 4-5 years of previous experience working as a strategist or copywriter at a branding, digital, insights, or advertising agency
• Brilliant strategic thinker and natural story teller
• Exceptional verbal/written communication skills, as messaging and copywriting is a huge part of the job
• Ability to create new, fresh, clever names as well as headlines and taglines that will be used for advertising and marketing
• Experience writing content and messaging for websites, apps, packaging, and other collateral
• Experience writing strategic briefs, research and trend presentations
• Professional, poised, with a sense of humor
• Ability to work in an extremely collaborative and fast-moving environment
• Passion for working with startups, entrepreneurs, and companies at any stage of growth
